Is this the future of music?
No one is perfect, and Hatsune Miku isn’t perfect as well… she’s not even real. But that doesn’t matter since her fame is real, and that is what matters. Actually, she’s the most famous singer in Japan. Until now she has generated millions of dollars on income, and has more than 2 millions followers on Facebook. Her image is known in all Japan. It doesn’t matter that she only exists in a computer. Hatsune Miku is perfect, and own the world with her music is her objective.
She was created as an app, an artificial voice software so the users could create their own songs. Crypton Future Media (CFM) combined her voice with the image of a anime cartoon girl to achieve a more attractive product for the consumers. It was an instantaneous success.
Choreography software, clothing design, among other products, were fastly created among their followers, which add new accessories by the day. Today, she has over 100.000 songs on her repertoire, hundreds of thousand videoclips, and all kinds of products. The page SankeiBiz pointed out that in the first 5 years Miku has generated over 120 million dollars.
Faithful to the Japanese style, Hatsune has big round eyes. Her age will be 16 for the eternity, the same as her birthdate on August 2007, she has a long turquoise hair, with two ponytails, her height is 1.58 meters, weights 43 kilograms, and loves to wear very short skirts and very long boots. Her name means "the first sound of the future”.

After the songs and videos, concerts were only the natural step to follow. The 3D hologram of Hatsune Miku produces the same passion as any pop artist with their public, usually teenagers. Her concerts are always full.
According to the CFM, it’s irrelevant if Hatsune is human or not. She can be what anyone wants her to be, and that’s her attractive, any person can create the Hatsune that it wants, she can sing pop or opera, she can be a bad girl ora n angel, and achieve what the fanatics want. And she will always be available, she will never cancel a concert because of a sour throat or because she’s spent the night partying.
"We believe that the fans of Hatsune Miku love her because they can relate to any of the creations she has made, without caring if she’s human or not. We haven’t given her any biographic preferences, except age, weight, and height, therefore users can create Works in which Miku can be whatever they want on their stories. Everyone invents their own Miku ", CFM states.

The fact is that Hatsune Miku has become a phenomena. She has been the spot face for brands such as Toyota or Google. Her melodies are already classics on sessions of karaoke lovers. And her success transcends borders.
Lady Gaga has hired her this year as her opening act for the Artpop tour. Miku has offered solo concerts in Singapore and Los Angeles. Hundreds of people have pre-purchased tickets for her shows in USA. She receives compliments from places such as México and Colombia. She has been seen on the Comic-Con. And with interest in the abroad market, she has started singing in English.
To be an unexisting pop superstar, the future of Hatsune Miku is brilliant. Her songs are a success, she will never age on the stage, and millions around the world adore her.
How can she become more famous yet? It’s hard to predict.
